Aim: This qualification aims to provide recognition and accreditation for advice and guidance practitioners working in a wide range of contexts. It is primarily aimed at practitioners working directly with clients, providing advice and some level of guidance and who are working with information that is often interpreted by others, and within some clear guidelines.
Minimum entry age: 16
Guided Learning Hours: 132-144
Credit value: 21
Qualifications structure
To achieve this certificate the learners have to complete 21 credits. !2 credits are achieved by completing the mandatory units and 9 credits from the optional units available. The evidence provided has to meet the knowledge and performance areas for each unit covered.

DIPLOMA INFORMATION ADVICE AND GUIDANCE (IAG) LEVEL 4

Aim: This competence based qualification aims to provide recognition and accreditation for advice and guidance practitioners working in a wide range of contexts, who are in roles featuring a significant degree of autonomy and independence and which are likely to involve them management of staff and resources.
Minimum entry age: 18
Guided Learning Hours: 213-269
Credit value: 37
Qualifications structure
To achieve this qualification the learner has to complete 37 credits. 17 credit from the mandatory units. A further 20 will be selected from the optional units.19 credits must be at level 4.
