This course is designed for those who wish to gain a basic knowledge of first     aid. This course complies with the basic minimum requirements of Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981

Requirements: A Desire to learn and good communication skills. This course is in addition to any course you may wish to study.

Duration: 1 Day

Student Profile: Individuals must be committed, enthusiastic, motivated and be able to work on their own and as part of a care team.

Assessment: To be carried out as agreed by the individual and tutor.

Methods: A variety of Methods will be used.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Course: Health and Safety

Preventing accidents and ill health caused by work is a key priority for everyone at work. This course will help to achieve a positive health and safety culture at       work. This course is for all employers and employees who want to develop their knowledge of health and safety in the workplace. The course requires six hours in total and involves formal teaching and workshops. The assessment is through a multiple choice examination. E-learning option is also available.
