Certificate Team Leading (QCF) – level 2 (Ref No: 501/0935/2)

Qualification Summary:

This is a cross-sector qualification, aimed at team leaders across a wide variety of commercial and public sector areas. This qualification recognises the skills and competences of learners in the work place. It provides individuals with an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed for a career in management and leadership. The units encompass a broad range of competencies from the management and leadership sector. It's suitable for learners aged 18 and above.

Qualification Structure:

Minimum entry age: 18

Guided Learning Hours: 80-100

Credit value: 17

 

To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading, learners must achieve a minimum of 17 credits. Learners must complete the 3 mandatory Group A units plus 7 credits which must be taken from the optional units in and according to the following rules specified.

MANAGEMENT LEVEL 3 (QCF)-  Ref No: 501/0994/7

 

The level 3 Certificate in Management is ideal for first line managers with responsibility for managing budgets, allocating work to team members and/or colleagues, achieving specific results and some degree of decision making. The qualification aims to give learners an opportunity to develop their management performance, become more effective and to progress in their career.

This is a cross-sector qualification. This means that qualification can be taken by team leaders and managers across a wide variety of areas, including educational institutions, government departments and the private sector. Level 3 learners can expect to be working as supervisors or first line managers.

 

Qualification Structure

Minimum entry age: 18

Guided Learning Hours: 165-210

Credit value: 25

 

To achieve this qualification, learners must complete a minimum of 25 credits - 14 of these credits must be taken from the mandatory units (Group A) and 11 credits from the remaining optional units (Group B).

DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT  LEVEL 5 (QCF) – Ref No: 501/0940/6

The Level 5 NVQ in Management is a cross-sector qualification. This means that this NVQ will be taken by people with personal responsibility and autonomy in their roles across a wide variety of areas. Level 5 candidates can expect to be working in a management and leadership role.

 

Qualification Structure:

 

Minimum entry age: 19

Guided Learning Hours: 155-210

Credit value: 38

 

To achieve the Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management (QCF), learners must achieve a total of 38 credits - 23 credits must be taken from the mandatory units (Group A) and a minimum of 15 credits from the optional units (Group B) of which at least 3 credits MUST be level 5 or above.
